-too many added features that could cause your PC to slow down.

Good:
-has 90% detection rate in contrast to AVG and Avast whose rate barely made it to 80%. In addition to viruses, it also detects Trojans,
-stable, effective, and well-supported antivirus program
Bad:
-avira free doesn't scan emails



AVG
Good:
-the most user friendly free antivirus program.
-has email virus scanners and link virus scanners
-stable, effective, and well-supported antivirus program
Bad:
-too sensitive
AVG makes a huge amount of false positive detections.
sometimes AVG can delete even those files that don't contain virus and delete useful installers and programs without asking permission first,because AVG think that was a virus.
